Project Overview
John Moriarty and Associates of Virginia, LLC were awarded the contract for the 11–story student resident hall at Georgetown University. Calvert performed the masonry and terra cotta portion of the project. The student housing accommodates 476 undergraduate and graduate students. Project was completed in 2022.
Piece by piece, the university is developing a significant footprint well to the east of where it was founded in the late 18th century. These moves come as colleges and universities from across the country have established outposts in the nation’s capital for research, teaching and student internships.
