John Young
President

Rejoining Calvert in 2013 after a brief hiatus, John Young brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University and earned a Master of Business Administration from National University. Prior to returning to Calvert, John served as a Contract and Procurement Specialist for the United States Marine Corps - Marine Corps Systems Command, overseeing commercial and non-commercial services.

John started at Calvert as a Project Engineer, steadily advancing to Vice President.  In 2024, John was named President of Calvert Masonry, Inc.  He directs project operational logistics, spearheads company strategic planning, and adeptly handles contract negotiations and issue resolution.

John is a graduate of ABC’s Leadership Development Program and an active member of the Washington Building Congress (WBC) and the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC).

John is married and a father of three young daughters. When not immersed in work or family, John enjoys cycling and playing rugby and flag football.
